St. Peter’s Centre is a fully accessible, vibrant community building across the road from St Peter’s Church.
There is ramped access from the car park to the foyer and cloakroom areas and thence to the bright and airy Sandhurst Hall. An excellent catering kitchen allows the Hall to be used by the charities St Peter’s Lunch Club and Sevak Semaj for social lunches during the week. It is an excellent venue for hire for parties and other social occasions.
Sports and fitness clubs hire the hall during the day time and evening. It is also used by the Scouting movement on a regular basis.
A small flight of steps leads from the Sandhurst Hall to an inner lobby, off which is the Parish Office suite, the Manor Room and a disabled toilet. The Manor Room is an attractive carpeted function room which can also be accessed from a ramp leading off the car park on the left hand side. Kitchen facilities can also be accessed from this room, making it an ideal venue for hire for smaller groups and parties. It is often used for church meetings, parish lunches and children’s activities.
A ramp from the right hand corner of the car park allows level access to the Woodland and Launde Rooms. At evenings and weekends, the suite of rooms is used by the Guiding movement, and is sometimes available for hire to other organisations.
To enquire about the availability of any of the rooms in St Peter’s Centre, please call the parish office on weekday mornings between 9am and 1pm when someone will be available to help you. At other times, please leave a message on the answerphone or e-mail the parish office.
